Visit to Tennessee

Cindy was recently invited to speak to employees at Bush University. Bush U is an education program for Bush Brothers employees providing updates on all areas relevant to bean production. Even though Bush Brothers is totally centered around beans, very few of their employees know much about the growing of beans and the concerns of their key suppliers, the actual bean growers!

The hour presentation was attended by about 70 staff in the Knoxville headquarters. But the presentation was fed live to the Chestnut Hill, TN and Augusta, WI canning facilities.

One of the company directors emailed the following note to Cindy. “Just wanted to send you a sincere thank you for making the trip to East TN and enlightening the folks at Bush Brothers as to the history and vision of Chippewa Valley Bean. Several folks have commented as to your genuine story regarding your family and the multi-generational impact your business has had on the dry bean industry.”
